Hilton Garden Inn Ocean City Oceanfront

Absolutely will be back.. from the nice gentleman, Vince who greets you to the rooms view you will not be disappointed. The hotel smells amazing with friendly staff. Our stay was short but we plan to return for a longer weekend stay. The hotel is right in the beach so simply walk downstairs to the beach access door and see your way away to the beach. They also have a wash station when coming back in to wash your feet off and beach things. This is a nice detail that goes along way. The entire hotel is updated and it really shows. If I could find one thing wrong about this hotel or simply needs improving the pillows.. they all need fresher.

THEY CHARGE $15/DAY TO PARK IN THE LOT EVEN FOR GUESTS.
I normally don't leave reviews unless its really bad or really good. This was really bad for what they charge per night here, especially since this place used to be nice when it was dunes manor.
The bad:
1) $15/day to park is insane.
2) we stayed 5 nights and the only time they cleaned our room was 1 afternoon, and we had to ask them to do it. We had to ask for new bedding too since there was pee all over the bed so they either didnt change the sheets from the previous bed wetter, or they didnt notice the pee and just changed the sheets. How this is possible is beyond me.
2) the elevators are slow and you will wait a few minutes at least. Not that big of a deal.
3) the place is filthy. I see cleaning crews all hours in the halls but trash all over the floor, the ventilation in the bathroom doesn't work, our bed/bedding left a rash all over my daughter's body every night she slept. The sand between the building and the beach looks like an alley in Baltimore city.
4)most of the staff is friendly doing their job. 1 instance tho one of my family members asked a cleaner for a towel by the outdoor showers to the beach and she screamed at us and threw a towel at my family member in front of other guests, coworkers.
The good:
Location is good I guess. View from the room is good

Upon arrival. Family..kids; hotel. Parking lot full. Didn't know where I was headed. Says the Hilton Garden Inn. Usually pretty decent for a local trip. The staff was friendly. Bag guy helped us with our bags to the room super friendly.
Here's where we lost it all....
Upon entering the room, I immediately notice all of the carpet stains, literally all over the floor. I suppose they expect most folks to not notice as the stains can blend with the textured designs of the carpet; not this detailed eye! The top sheet cover was stained, was shaggy with pulled threading all over it; the patio was dirty, bathroom shower curtain dirty and dingy; the bathtub faucet nearly off the wall, with a silicone adhesive to try and hold it together, meaning it will leak.
Immediately, the hubby went downstairs to complain.
While I wait in the rooms with the bags, I began stressing. Then, started searching on my own for something better. Then a knock on the door, and it was room service, coming to change the sheets. I show her the nasty comforter, she takes it off and says she would have to wash it and bring it back. While stripping off the sheets she calls me over and says ma'am I will have to strip the mattress pad too, it has a huge stain. Literally, IT DID! SHE WAS SORRY. I informed her it wasn't her fault. To which she leaves, takes some of the sheets, as the initial bedding she grabbed to change the covers, had mixed sizes.....by this time I'm about ready to go home.
Anyway young manager enters room with hubby, looks around, literally has no authority. I'm telling him, like fully stained flooring bedding isn't clean, shower curtain filthy.
Needless to say, we left. Sweet lady who tried to help never returned. She tried, bit its not her hotel.
Oh and I learned later, that this property IS NOT A HILTON RAN HOTEL!!!!PRIVATELY OWNED.
